Fantastic service. Branch Manager Jessica Robinson is one of the best in the business.
We've been customers here for over 20 years and have never been terribly impressed with the services, they always seem to be a bit behind the curve in terms of new technology like online banking. In fact, BCT (now Potomac) is only a backup bank for us because it is local. Well, recently my minor daughter had a fraudulent charge on her student account. Since they rebranded to Potomac Bank, ACH transfers through their third-party Plaid integration have been completely broken. It’s been weeks, everyone knows it’s an issue, and nothing has been fixed. I’ve lost thousands of dollars because of their failure to handle basic banking functions. This is a bank, yet they can’t even manage the fundamentals. I’m already speaking with a lawyer about recovering lost revenue, and I’m open to discussing a potential class action. Reach out if you’re in the same situation.
Horrible Customer Service. We waited in the lobby to see someone about changing the beneficiary on our accounts for an hour until we finally got fed up and left. No one approached us to help us while we sat there and watched others come in after us who were helped because they were friends of one of the customer service personnel.
