I had an incredible experience with this branch. Aurora went above and beyond to help me with a tricky situation over a stressful weekend. She was kind, patient, and most importantly - competent!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience here was absurd. I came in today simply needing to withdraw $60 from my account, and after waiting close to 30 minutes, I was not helped at all. Because of recent fraud on my account, I had to order a new debit card and couldn’t use my Apple Wallet, so I went inside expecting assistance. Instead, I was given the complete runaround. Horrible bank There was nobody to provide customer service to even do basic money. Transfer moves for hours and then the atm didn't even work to move money like that worst bank of america ever
Everyone agrees, going to the bank sucks. Except for at BoA in Lafayette. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and I feel like they actually know how to provide good customer service. (Which nowadays feels rare). I’m pretty tech savvy, but they are very helpful with people who do not understand how the bank app works or who don’t understand the more virtual options. Literally anyone can walk into my bank and someone will help them with what they need - and do it with a friendly face.
I’ve had nothing but problems with Bank of America, especially the Lafayette location. The staff consistently have a bad attitude, and getting in touch with anyone in the office over the phone is nearly impossible. I’ve sat on hold for ridiculous amounts of time, only to be hung up on more than once. Every time I deposit a check or cash, I’m hit with a 7-day security hold that I was never informed about.
