I deposited a check from a very reputable company, 5 star rating, for $2000. The branch service is excellent in every way and told me that it appeared no hold was placed upon deposit. The next day a hold was placed on the deposit by Bank of America. I was told it would take a week to clear. I went to the branch, and they gave me the phone number they would call to resolve the problem. I visited this branch to cash a check and waited for a long time. The teller first asked me to bring my wife, so we returned together with our three toddlers and waited almost an hour. After holding the check for about 10 minutes, she informed us that the check was from another bank and could not be cashed. This information could have been communicated earlier to avoid the long wait and inconvenience.

Manager Peter and Jon at Bank of America in Hopkins, MN provided great service. They were committed to helping me and stayed late. All my experience at BofA in MN and with Angel in CT have been excellent! Thank you!

Every time I come here it’s before work because I work m-f evenings. No matter how early I leave 1.5 hours is the record I’m always late to work due to there only being one teller. I understand most banking can be done virtually or at an atm but not all please give us a second teller this is getting ridiculous.
