I had to visit Bank of America to get some documents notarized, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Houston was incredibly nice and welcoming. Since Iām new to the area, I really appreciated that he even offered me recommendations for Thai food, exactly what I was looking for! I had a small issue where I missed one of the pages that needed notarization during my visit yesterday. This BOA office is seriously lacking on basic customer service. Been with BOA since the 1970ās and seriously thinking of moving all accounts from BOA to another bank. They currently donāt even have a manager at this branch. I would not recommend anyone to BOA if this is your branch. Go elsewhere and save yourself a headache or two.Ā
Ensure that youāre prepared to wait and waitā¦and wait! Yes! For at least 30 minutes or more for simple transactions, opening an account etc. I understand itās Black Friday but they didnāt even acknowledge us as we satā¦then literally laid back on their sofa in the lobby area and watched an entire 1st quarter of a football game as we sat patiently without ANY acknowledgment of our time being wasted only because we need to open an accountā¦EGREGIOUS. Worst bank ever for INTERNATIONAL students in particular! Takes forever to recieve the card and then to activate it and then a week later after i finally was able to use my card it got havked into and blocked and am told am required to go physically to bank branch to fix it and after waiting 45 mins in this particular branch am told sorry we are closing come again Monday even though I checked before hand if Ill get my request done today!
