There are so many issues with my now closed account. The communication from your team was inadequate and continues to be lacking. The staff was not able to assist me, and the form letter I received only confirms that your staff does not reach out to customers in a regular timely manner. I trusted you, Merill for nearly 20 years. And sadly, I was wrong to trust Merill.

I was recently laid off, so I would like to transfer my 401k from Merrill Lynch to my personal IRA with a different institution. However, I believe Merrill is purposefully punishing for leaving their bank by always writing my 401k check incorrectly. I have sent back their 401k check about 4 times already because its been written incorrectly. When I call their customer service line, they confirm that I said the correct things the first time but whoever writes their check always puts in the wrong Pay to name or account number.... read more
