I wanted to cancel a BofA credit card. I had not used it in over a year and they charge a $95/year fee. Just another republican scam to extract funds from the middle class. I called and was directed to call a number to cancel. I called then waited for over half an hour on the phone and then I hung up. Obviously my time is worth nothing to them so neither is my money. BofA has terrible phone service. I will switch to a local credit union where humans answer the phone and they care about their customers.

Made an appointment to discuss fraud in my account. They had me stand where the only teller is in the lobby area discussing my account in the open and asked me to step aside while other customers were withdrawing their funds. I should have been in a room with my statements pulled up given privacy. The ladies were laughing at me when I asked very legitimate questions about activity in my account. I came here to set up a wire transfer for a larger sum. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but had to inform me that a manager will be required to approve this wire and the local branch manager had called in sick today. Staff then helped set up an appointment at a BoA location nearby. At that location, I had to wait another 10minutes post the scheduled time for someone to be available to help me with this.
