Issue is not specific to this Bank of America branch, but the bank as a whole. My husband and I have been customers with them for over 30yrs. Deposited a BANK CHECK for 20k and received an email saying an extended hold was placed on our account and money would not be available for a full week. The email made reference to possible fraud. We had just gotten the check from our account, across the street, at Maspeth Federal.
