After having a very frustrating experience at Bank of America Forest Hills branch, I visited a different location and had the pleasure of speaking with Sandy, the branch manager. Sandy took the time to listen carefully to my concerns regarding a check that had been placed on hold. Went to cash a check was told I was unable to that I could only deposit it, I agreed and asked if there was a fee I could pay to have access to the funds immediately like my primary bank offers I was told no. I then asked if there would be a hold on the check I was told it would be ready to use in 2 business days but that a portion would be available the next day and within 10 minutes of leaving I received an email saying the check needed further review to make sure it’s a real check.
