Went in Friday to cash a check. I'm a non client, but the check was issued by a client. I was told they couldn't cash the check.... even though it was issued by their bank by an account holder. Adin then proceeds to "salesman" me and tell me if I was an account holder, they could cash it. The customer service that I received from Rafael Alshamari is precisely why brick-and-mortar branches should never go away. We've all seen the closing of many banking centers. Ever since COVID, so many companies have switched to online-only "customer service", robotic call centers and never ending button pushing to get to an actual human. Bank of America STOLE My Money and Is Ignoring Me Bank of America’s ATM literally took my cash and never gave it back. I was depositing money — my mortgage payment — and the machine malfunctioned. No credit to my account, no refund. I opened a claim on the spot and was told it would be fixed in 2 business days. That was a complete lie. It’s now been much longer. I’ve called over 10 times, been placed on hold for ridiculous amounts of time, transferred from one useless rep to another, and given nothing but excuses and delays.... read more
