I needed to have three cashier’s checks drawn on my account. Because of the amount of the withdrawal and the fact that each check amount was identical, I was concerned that I would trip up some type of fraud alert on the bank of America system. Extremely disappointing customer service. I went into this branch because I simply needed help understanding a transaction on my account. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated. I just needed someone to look at the transaction history with me and explain what had happened. Instead, the banker told the teller to give me a 1-800 number and said that no one inside the branch could help me with this because they “don’t do that.” What kind of bank cannot help its own customer understand transactions appearing in their account? ... read more
