What bank opens ten (10) minutes late? Bank Of America on North Main St in High Point, NC. If you look at the date of my post, you'll see that a winter storm watch was in effect. Don't be fooled if BOA replies it opened late because of the weather conditions. This was 9:10 AM, and snow wouldn't start til hours later, if it started the same day at all. I’ve been a BOA customer a long time. We showed up on a Saturday as we work long shifts weekdays and told it would take they them 45 minutes to set up and that’s past their hours. I have never heard of refused service when you show up during business hours to address something especially when you have been a long time customer. We will be looking at other options after today.
Came in on a Saturday to open a joint bank account with my fiancée for our wedding. Tellers were rude and not willing to spend an extra 10-15 mins after closing to finish opening an account for us since it “takes 45 minutes” and they turned me away instead of sacrificing their precious minutes. Won’t be back to this branch, may choose another bank altogether if this is the level of customer service.
