I see the reviews here - majority one star and I have to tell you I was right with them for the longest time as I haven’t been a bofa costumer for over a decade - last time this branch somehow managed to cash out bank checks I have requested but NOT given to the merchant - the checks were physically with me as I have changed my mind about a service (at the Benz dealer) yet somehow the checks were cashed and once I showed that to the tellers in NYC (where I initially opened my account) the security nearly escorted me out for ... read more
** Do not deposit your government checks in this bank, they will place a 7 day hold on your check— which is violate bank behavior to assume the consumer does not need their money. The worst bank to do business with, I’m disappointed I didn’t check their reviews before opening an account, I see why they have “2 Stars” I’ve been experiencing nothing but chaos, what they say they won’t do so many other banks do without issue.
