What a joke. Tried to deposit cash into a BOA customer’s account (to finalize a boat purchase) with the account holder on the phone line, bank staff looked horrified - Said it’s illegal. News flash, it’s not. No problem posting a check to someone’s account that they will sit on for three to five days to clear or paying $35 for a wire or CC to deposit with immediate credit.
