I met with Edwin A. Ruiz of Merrill Lynch Office located within the branch, Elm Street, Westfield, Nj. He is truly a patient, knowledgeable representative. Edwin took the time to help me get the information I needed. He educated me on the investment opportunities with him/BOA/Merrill Lynch. Edwin also leant his empathetic ear to listen to my journey of navigating estate/inheritance issues in the financial area. He gave me some guidance and advice to engage with tax specialists and estate attorneys.
It used to be a good branch, but since the latest staff rotation, they have been incompetent and understaffed. They literally call the BofA Call Center to answer your question. Might as well skip the trip and call the help center by yourself. If you need a teller at the counter, good luck, and plan some time.
Horribly understaffed. With just one teller at the counter, you'll wait in line forever.
The service in general are to slow, I went to make a cash this morning then the teller said can’t find a matching signature , they make me wait like more than 25 minutes. Very sad
This branch refused to take my check despite the fact that it was double endorsed as the BOA policy states is allowable for transferring a check made out to two people into an account of one of them. There was no real explanation other than it “would be returned” which given the policy language is not sufficient. This incongruence between the policy and the stated reason my check was not accepted leaves me wondering why I was denied this service.
