Absolutely unacceptable behavior from Bank of America. I recently visited a Bank of America branch to cash a United States Postal Service money order—a federally backed, government-issued negotiable instrument that is legally treated as cash under 31 CFR § 370.1 and governed by U.S. Treasury regulations.
