I recently was a walk-in looking to open an account. The staff was very friendly and they accommodated me between appointments. Tommy was very helpful, listened to my financial needs and wishes and helped me make the right choice as to what type of account to open. Everyone was very friendly and the facility was clean and plenty of parking. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because there didn’t seem to be much tellers available and people kept leaving because the wait was long. Other than that, really recommend this bank.

I went to cash a company check, from a company that has over 7,000 employees, at 3p.m. so bank could easily call company and confirm check, I was asked why I didn't have an account with them, I informed them, I was here on contract, and there are no B.O.A where I live. They refused to cash, saying its over the limit, I asked what is the limit, the teller said I can't tell you, so being the only African American in the bank, I have to assume the max depends on ethnicity, so even if they do add their bank where I live, I WILL ... read more

Extremely incompetent employees and rude service from the supervisor. I wanted to get cash on a check from Bank of America, they refused to even try, citing the fact that they tried to cash the check earlier and it is necessary to go to the branch where the first attempt was made. The supervisor refused to talk, just threw the check at me. I received cash in another branch without any problems or arguments from the employees. I know it’s just one time experience but I had a good one. I got a fraud apart and someone tried to wire out 300k from our account. I was on the phone for hours but eventually I was told I need to go to the branch and talk to a banker. I first went to millbrae at 12:40 and was told there is no banker from someone who looked like a manager and was told to come back at 2 and there wouldn’t be any guarantee that I can talk to one because they are booked.
