My father had a stroke and brought the power of attorney to the Westerly BOA. The POA from Florida wasn’t approved, so I hired a RI Attorney to redo the Durable Power of Attorney to RI standards. Their legal dept Came back twice with questions. My Dad is a Jr. , but the bank didn’t have it on their side, I provided proof. Still waiting…. I was told it could take 5 business days.
