Bank of America has been the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to fraud protection. Thousands of dollars were stolen from my account the day after Christmas, and weeks later I still have not received a credit. Communication has been terrible, the process has been painfully slow, and the corporate office has been completely unhelpful. This location seems to be understaffed and when you do get service, it is slow. The Waverly location seems to be much better run, so we will be using that branch instead.
So we brought in rolled coins to this branch along with loose coins (dollar coins) that I did not have enough of to make a roll of them (25 coins per roll). The teller accepted the rolled coins as expected but told us that she would not accept the ~$20 in $1 coins that I brought in. You can’t even accept legal-tender coins that I did not have enough to make a roll of!? Plus this bank is very unprofessional and unfriendly. Bottom line, We are getting ready to close our accounts and moving elsewhere.
I’m very disappointed with this bank. On Friday, I came in and asked for a specific employee. I was told that he wouldn’t be available until Tuesday, and I scheduled an appointment with him for 9 a.m. I drove 40 minutes to get there on Tuesday, but the employee I needed wasn’t there again. No one informed me in advance that he wouldn’t be available. As a result, I wasted my time and couldn’t get anything done. Very inconvenient and disrespectful to the customer.
