This branch used to be reliable. My recent visit was disappointing,the line moved slowly, staff seemed more interested in chatting than assisting the next customer, and when it was finally my turn I was told there would be a fee to cash a simple check. It felt unprofessional and inefficient compared to how this location used to run.
I’ve been with Bank of America for over 25 years. I want to close my account because the bank has turned into something. I don’t want anything to do with anymore. I’ve been to the bank in person twice trying to close the account. I had a balance of $51. My attitude was keep the $51.00, just close the account, Please! Cash teller was not available, waited 20 minutes to do a basic function at a branch, cash a check! Staffing your branch seems like a simple function of your Bank of America corporate banking system. How strange this experience was and is a signal of a larger problem with Bank of America. Having people use the atm to deposit cash instead of with a person. Also having to pay for this service since I am not a member is ridiculous.
