I'm here to report Lina, A 'Financial Advisor' , who told me that I can't be my mom's translator during the appointment. Since it took more time than we expected, we cancelled the investment plan, and opened an CD account instead which was something we can easily do online without driving 30 mins to the office. Lina Morales, is very impatient, rude and racist. I went in with a family member and she demanded we required a licensed interpreter. She said I couldn’t interpret for my family member. Which I later confirmed with their supervisor that a licensed interpretor IS NOT REQUIRED, unless requested for by the customer. Which we didn’t request because I was there for the interpretation. I'm utterly astonished at how bad the customer service has become at this branch. (Fruitville Rd at Sarasota Crossings) I called the branch for help with a direct deposit. The associate seemed annoyed & very impatient that I needed to ask her to repeat herself several times because I could neither hear nor understand everything she was saying. Absolutely terrible customer service. Waited over an hour. Only one banker available and she was just chit chatting with someone in her cube with no regard for other customers waiting. End up walking out.
