Multiple issues occurred that caused unnecessary delays and complications during my appointment today at BOA Amherst branch. I was initially informed of a 15-minute delay while actually waited 45 minutes past scheduled appointment time. Jonathan attempted to charge a $45 wire transfer fee without first discussing transfer options. Based on previous experience, transfers in Japanese Yen do not incur fees. The young man at the counter is impolite towards customers, and the nearby manager allows this behavior without taking any action. However, the desk associates I've met are great people, so it's best to schedule your appointment before you arrive. The situation persisted for a long and they don't seem to care about their ratings since they hold a local monopoly as the town's largest bank.
