Bank of America, Avon, Connecticut; I give them five stars, especially for customer service! And kudos go out especially to the man working the front main customer service area who has worked there for quite awhile, (sorry I don’t know his name). I had Bank of America account since 1978. Their service are getting worse all the time. I deposited two check on July 3. The fund won't be available till July 11th. It is ridiculous because nowaday every transaction is done electronically. They used to make partial amount available before the checks were cleared. No more. I wired the money from my other account to cover the outstanding checks It was returned by Bank of America for no reason given and they charge me a $45.00 fee. The staff were good, but Bank of America is honestly terrible. The interest rates are awful compared to other banks and cancelling a credit with them is a two day ordeal. The mobile app is also extremely outdated and poor compared to others.
Every time I visit this branch, I am always greeted by friendly and professional staff member. The wait time is little longer than usual but once you are with the team member, every thing is well taken care of, be it a new account opening or anything else. It’s a great to have this branch as part of Avon community.
