Out of pure desperation, I decided to give this branch another try and was even more frustrated than the last time. One woman who works there seems to be extremely limited in her abilities regarding customer service. All she does is offer to make an appointment, which is never within a timely fashion. This branch has a few helpful and kind employees but the hours are so limited. Also, when I told the one employee I spoke with that after much difficulty with BofA, I was probably going to close all of my accounts, she got defensive and said “I’m just an employee, I go by the rules” which made me sad. I understand what she meant, because I’ve worked customer service, but it felt like she was just washing her hands of a bad thing. It’s no employees fault that the corporation fails. Big banks are bad for all involved.
THIS IS A HORRIBLE INSTITUTION WHO ROBBED ME!!!!! In MAY 2025 I drove all the way from Taos to close my bank account. They said they couldn’t cut me a check with my remaining balance so they made me call the bank and wait for an hour to have them say they were going to send me a check. The check never came and they told me when I called multiple times afterwards that they actually were not able to cut me a check over the phone. It is now mid-September and BOFA STILL HAS MY MONEY!!!
Why do you even have a phone? You can't reach anyone. I called another 5 branches to try to verify funds on a check, when I FINALLY got through to someone at another branch, they couldn't tell me any information since their branch didn't write the check. I've been on the phone trying to reach someone for an hour. This is ridiculous.
This place has really taken a turn for the better, especially with new manager Dominic. I always enjoy seeing Berta and Steven at the walk up. Its a good branch and good customer service.
