I just set up a new account a few days ago with Bank of America, coming over from Wells Fargo, and I had some security issues as far as provisioning of the account and was pretty frustrated, but Kristi and Evan were absolutely phenomenal even though I showed up 10 minutes before closing! After more than two months of BOA investigating a check of ours that was undoubtedly intercepted and forged, I’m convinced BOA is committing outright theft of $2,750.00. What bank doesn’t credit a client’s account while investigating clear check fraud while to trying to secure the funds?? Bank of America is that bank. I was first told it would take 20 days to clear the investigation, then I heard 30, then 40, then 60. And now after 60 days, I’m hearing *90!* Why don’t you just tell me you stopped investigating this weeks ago... read more
