I was attempting to deposit cash into my elderly parents account, I was told since I don’t have an account with BOA I can’t deposit cash into their account, it would need to be a check or money order.. Prior to this I wrote a check and they tried to deposit and BOA kicked it back for unknown reasons. I have never heard of any bank refusing to let you deposit cash into an account.
