This message is specifically for the Merrill desk inside the bank. Billy Storlie is dismissive, rude, unhelpful, and should not be in customer service. It's a shame that may of the Merrill advisers I have dealt with, throughout the country have been wonderful. Unfortunately, one bad apple spoils the bunch. Based on other Google reviews, I am not alone in my opinion.

My husband's Uncle recently passed away, leaving his checking account POD to my husband. He was advised by a Bank of America representative to go into a branch to complete the paperwork required. All of the Bank of America's in our area have closed, so we drove 2 hours to reach the Appleway branch. When we arrived there was one other person in the lobby.
