I went there to cash a check from a customer of theirs & had to pay $8.00 to cash it because I didn't have an Acct. with them. I usually deposit other banks cks in my Wells Fargo account. But, I didn't want to wait for it to clear. That's the last time I'll do that. We have enough thieves in this world already.

The bank itself and staff are friendly. The institution, however, has many security flaws and if you report a possible fraud risk and ask they freeze your Bank of America Credit card until they send a new one...they don't and then days later when huge fraud issues happen...they don't help. In my case $8000 was bank transferred across country to someone else's account ( they won't release the info of who's name is on the account or the address associated with that account so I can give that to the FBI ) this happened 3 days a... read more

Came in to get a voided check or letter with my account number on it for direct deposit and they told me they don't do that and I will have to make an appointment with a banker Monday - Friday 9-5. But I work Monday through Friday 9-5. I will be closing my account that I've had for two years because without being able to direct deposit my checks BOA is useless to me.
