My husband's Uncle recently passed away, leaving his checking account POD to my husband. He was advised by a Bank of America representative to go into a branch to complete the paperwork required. All of the Bank of America's in our area have closed, so we drove 2 hours to reach the Appleway branch. When we arrived there was one other person in the lobby. Don't take checks to this location in cda, ID. Non-customer with a check. Cashed several checks at Hayden branchin the past. Just didn't use this location. The guy that gave me the check called me and said he can't get ahold of the branch to verify his check is valid. Has to write me a check from a different account. How embarrassing for him and I. But the bank doesn't care, of course. They lost their little $8 fee. JUST DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE T0 HAYDEN BRANCH.
