Bank of America has been the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to fraud protection. Thousands of dollars were stolen from my account the day after Christmas, and weeks later I still have not received a credit. Communication has been terrible, the process has been painfully slow, and the corporate office has been completely unhelpful. I visited this Bank of America location this morning, and my experience at the teller window was disappointing. The representative who assisted me—an African-American, heavyset woman—displayed poor customer service. Her tone came across as irritated, and her body language felt dismissive, which made it uncomfortable to ask questions that a customer may genuinely not know the answers to. I absolutely love this branch of BofA. I do not have anything negative at all to say about them. They’re convenient, professional, courteous, efficient and friendly. I had occasion today to need to meet with the manager (Bernard), Assistant Manager (Vernon), and Lucy, a teller there. All were exceedingly helpful dealing with my situation. I’ve been a BofA customer for over 20 years (a satisfied customer, obviously) and felt the need to acknowledge these folks in this review today.
