This is a horrible bank. They provide NO customer service as I was just told by a BOA employee. I have had several problems with my account over the years and experienced this no customer service policy. Problems/mistakes happen, when it involves your bank and your money the bank should help resolve it, especially if it is their mistake, this one doesn’t. Changing banks is a hassle, avoid the hassle, find a bank that wants to work with customers and their money from the start.
So disappointed with this bank. Went on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Told I needed to make an appointment because they had a customer coming it at 10 a.m. Made an appointment for 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Got there at 11:20 a.m. I was told someone would be with me shortly. At 11:40 a.m., I was asked if I was the 11:30 a.m. appointment! Responded “yes”! I tried to a wire transfer money from PNC to Bank of America to an account that ( unbeknownst to me) was closed. They sent the money back minus $45. I was given absolutely no notice or explanation for the missing funds even after calling PNC. THIS FEELS LIKE STEELING TO ME. Either from PNC or Bank of America or both. From what I understand the whole transfer took less than a minute, how could that possibly cost $45?
