I tried to a wire transfer money from PNC to Bank of America to an account that ( unbeknownst to me) was closed. They sent the money back minus $45. I was given absolutely no notice or explanation for the missing funds even after calling PNC. THIS FEELS LIKE STEELING TO ME. Either from PNC or Bank of America or both. From what I understand the whole transfer took less than a minute, how could that possibly cost $45?
Tried to get an appointment online and there are no times available… any day any time for over two weeks. I finally stopped checking when I check of the first day of the third week. So I called the branch. Pressed 4 to speak with someone. It rang several times and then the recording said everyone was helping other costumers. The recording told me to make an appointment online. Worst experience at this branch.only Brian knew his job. Not even the manager at the bank was knowledgeable of her job not her employees at this branch. They kept me there 3 hrs. Should have gone to the Novi branch.they know their jobs and never once any issues at Novi
Be sure to have several forms of ID when cashing a check. They will pick and choose what is acceptable even though other Bank of America's have accepted them no problem. $2 Billion dollars last quarter and will give you the run around to cash a check.
