I have been a Bank of America customer for over 26 years. This branch was the final straw. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, looking at their abysmal rating before my review. I visited to deposit a legitimate trust disbursement check and was told it was a “starter check” and could not be accepted. The teller escalated to a senior banker. Even after I explained why the check was valid, the branch refused to process it. No hold option was offered. No attempt was made to verify the issuing institution.
