My retirement account was claimed by the state due to inactivity and Joseph Schmitz, a Merrill Lynch advisor at this location was extremely helpful and kind assisting me with getting my account back. Thank you so much for helping me and not being bothered by my children!! 10/10 recommend him to help you with your advising!
Went to the atm to withdraw $1200 this morning and picked it in $100 dollar bills got 10 $100 bills and 10 $20 bills, walked inside to get the $20's changed to $100's and the teller told me I only give her $100 and after arguing with me she finally learned how to count and said yes you did give me $200. I have been banking with BofA for 41 yrs now and this bank has gone to hell! Only two tellers that move at a snails pace getting customers taken care of and a line that backs up to the front doors! Very poor customer service.
I have never met a company that treats its customers like second hand citizens. Deposit a check - wait 5 business days, (7 real world days). Deposit a government check - same issue. Beyond frustrating. Their staff are not helpful.
Yesterday there was a near empty bank with 2 tellers, one pretty busy helping a customer, the 2nd was just chatting away for quite awhile as if my time is of zero value. It's definitely not appreciated.
Never under any circumstances open an account with Bank of America. They never answer the phone, neither at branch locations or at any of the phone numbers online or on the cards they give you. They have a horrible little robot that doesn't allow you to speak to a human and then hangs up on you. If you have not yet had a problem with which you need assistance, by happy for that good luck and close all accounts with Bank of America before you need their help, cause when you need them they are not there.
