The Bank N.A. of Oklahoma began in May of 1927, when a group of McAlester businessmen met and agreed to take over the charter of The Bank of McAlester, a small State bank that had closed. The group opened on May 17, 1927 with Tom Hale as President, Roy Caldwell as Executive Vice President & Cashier, W.B. McAlester and W.J. Basolo as Vice Presidents. Board members were W.P. I told my mother who has been with this bank for 15 years and my mother is retired so she gets her SSI once a month, so they know she has money to pay a $2,000 dollar loan she needs to save her dog and they denied her. What a place. This bank I wouldn't recommend to a single person. Sad also when your negative 2 dollars this bank charges you 25 dollars a day until it's out of negatively so two dollars if you got for example five days until payday 25 x 5 that's what your going to owe being negative two bucks. Does not respect their customers or their customers money! Definitely taking my business elsewhere
I bank through them and travel for work. Good luck getting anything covered when you try to transfer money or make a deposit that doesn't show up for 3 days because of their hours... which they happened to be open you just can't reach a person. Why have branches open on Saturday or Friday if you don't do anything concerning transfers or deposits that day? Useless.
