I walked to cash a $14.10 check from the county of Lafayette with this bank's name on it. The bank wanted to charge me $10.00 to cash the check, because I didn't have a bank account here. I am disabled on a monthly low income budget. Highly disappointed that they don't honor their own checks written from the County. I wouldn't bank here if they paid me to.
