I do not recommend applying for any kind of loan through this bank or doing business with them at all. Their website clearly says they offer solar panel installation loans and they are on the EnergySage website list of lenders so I applied online. They did a hard pull of my credit and then called me to say that they don't offer solar loans anymore. I asked if they would remove the inquiry from my credit report and they said no. I've been using BankFive for several years. It was a good bank until about a month ago when I attempted to move $6000 to an external account. The transfer was declined (without an explanation) and at that point the money was "missing in action" - it never landed in the target account and it also wasn't credited back to the BankFive account. It took 3-4 weeks for me to get my money back (June 21 => July 15) during which I called BankFive support multiple times and spent hours on the phone trying to chase back my money. Bank is great. I have many pleasurable experiences with them. I had move my banking services to another bank for personal reasons, but I maintain my account at Bank5 just in case I ever need to go back. Give these guys a try if this is your first time in online banking!
