I have banked with Qantas Staff Credit Union which became Qudos Bank for over 20 years. Recently they have been taken over by Bank Australia. The bank is no longer customer focussed. I’ll be finding a new bank.

Absolute rubbish. Opened a bank account deposited a small amount of money and had a friend deposit money also. Then the account is locked, asking for a 3 month bank statement from my other bank, why? Are we not aloud to have money deposited? Can't even transfer money out now. Will be sclosing the bank account and moving to a new one. I would AVOID bank australia if your looking for a new bank go else were

I have tried to keep away from Banks listed on the ASX with Blackrock, Vanguard and Statestreet as Shareholders. Knowing full well that I was getting a lesser interest rate on my money, I have opened several savings accounts in Credit Unions. Bank Australia would have to be the worst Credit Union. After doing all the idenity checks when I requested to withdraw a large sum of money I was refused as I would not disclose why I wanted the money.
