I have been using Bangor Savings Bank for many years and the Hammond st location is by far the worst branch to deal with. Every. Single. Time- there is some issue they have about something. I have been getting paid weekly by the same company for decades. Yesterday, 2/26/26, I stopped to deposit my paycheck and grab a little cash. They refused to help me because it was dated for 2/27/26. Predatory lendor. I've had nothing but issues for the two years we've had our home loan through them. They keep finding "issues" with the insurance we purchase, waiting 10 months to tell us and charging us for their super expensive gap insurance. I thought the first one was on me as a new home buyer, but the second time? Absolutely not. They refused to make it right after their departments FAILED to get ahold of me.
