The care at Banfields is second to none. My grandmother is a resident and we cannot speak highly enough of all of the care given to her. An example is when a staff member reached out to my mother after a decline in my grandmother’s affect. When told that she used to love gossip magazines but had long let them go as she didn’t know the people in them anymore, the staff member went to an op shop and found old magazines for my grandmother to engage with. Staff complaining clientele are difficult & they don’t want their feathers ruffled more so by my visits which was to support my father. Even a doctor I know was appalled to hear this. What do you people expect from dementia patients? Apologies to the door lady who was allegedly having troubles on her last day. However that isn’t my problem as a visitor to the premises Apart from that let’s forget about it! Such a lovely facility with equally lovely, accommodating staff. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful lifestyle program. My mother-in-law says she is truly blessed to live at Banfiels.
