One of the worst ports I've ever been too. Have to check-in to 3 different windows and lines. Then wait outside in 100 degree weather while waiting to be called to be loaded. Shippers and receiver's need federal oversight. The same way the commercial vehicles are regulated. This place is poorly ran and it starts at the top. 5hrs to load.
Be ready for 3-6 hours. They have great lunch time 12 to 1 but actually start at 11 40. Slow slow , nobody care about your time
If you never been here before read before going. If you don’t have a twic card then you will need $80 cash for twic escort fee they do not take cards or checks must have cash. Also make sure you have all paperwork emailed to them before arriving email in picture. The process here is more longer and difficult then the DMV be prepared to take a few hours to check in , loading is fast tho I was there 5 hours yesterday only took 10 mins to get loaded the rest was trying to check in
