I would not recommend Dan Balena or this firm based on my experience. Communication and follow-up have been extremely disappointing. There were repeated assurances that we would receive a response or an update, yet on several occasions the promised follow-up did not happen. They treat you great in the beginning and then once settlement time comes they rob and lie to you. Do not make the mistake of going with this law firm!
Our experience so far has been nothing short of a disaster. Daniel J Balena has deliberately lied and conned my mom into signing a settlement agreement, promising a bridgepoint loan that she had taken prior would be taken care of from the settlement (which we have proof of). Instead, he has kept all the money and hasn't gotten back to us since Nov. 2025, up until this past week (Aug. 2026). HIGHLY RECOMMEND- I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr.Balena who represented me in my injury case. I had a car accident which resulted in a spine surgery.
