I booked a 75-minute facial but received only about 65 minutes of service. Although the front desk staff initially appeared attentive, my concerns were not addressed. I have not visited Balans, not for lack of interest, but because of the experience I had when I called to inquire about services. I spoke with a manager named Merna, whose responses came across as extremely passive. As I asked questions about the services I was hoping to book, her tone grew increasingly irritated. I just had the most rejuvenating one-hour massage with Sasha at Balans on Newbury. I could literally feel the stress and tension being removed from every part of my body. It's been a long time since I've felt this much relief. The atmosphere is absolutely top-notch—so calming and serene. Every detail, from the decor to the cleanliness, is on point. The entire staff was incredibly polite and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. This is a must-try for anyone looking to truly unwind.

Marie has been a godsend. She was extremely attentive to my problem areas, and even recommended supplements once she realized by thyroid was bigger than it should be. The addition of Coach Castle to Balans really makes this a holistic spot for anyone looking to work out and then relax. With Castle, I've been able to lift more than previously and managed to lose a (significant) amount of weight. 110%, go to Balans for your body work needs. Castle and Marie are amazing.

Had my first visit to Balans Organic Spa and absolutely loved it! My husband gifted me a package with a float session, massage, and facial—total of 3.5 hours of pure relaxation. Pim gave me the best massage (felt reborn!) and Natalia's facial left my skin glowing. The staff is super friendly, and I loved the detail of changing into slippers right at the entrance—it really sets the tone. I enjoyed it so much, I booked my next session before leaving!
