family member had persistent mild asthma following a viral infection, and really hated the idea of being on an inhaler for an extended period of time. saw Dr. Naomi for 2 months and when he had pulmonary testing done at MUSC last week, was informed he was asthma free!
My first visit: Dr. Tinsley is warm, welcoming and super understanding. Her knowledge immediately knew to target a specific area and the relief was almost instantaneous. We ended the session with a set of my first ear seeds. The rooms are clean and organized and comforting. If you’re on the fence, give it a go! Eastern medicine has many wonderful properties and the care that I experienced is hands down better than you’ll get elsewhere.
Tinsley is exceptional. She meets you exactly where you are, both physically and mentally, and takes the time to understand your body’s needs as well as your personal goals. I hadn’t had acupuncture in years, but I immediately felt relaxed, supported, and deeply cared for. Her gentle, compassionate approach puts you at ease, and I left the session feeling lighter, rejuvenated, and more grounded. I was advised to see Lauren regarding an acute back pain issue that had limited my ability to function with daily activities over a 4 day period. She was most empathetic with my situation and immediately created an available visit in her busy schedule for me. She was very professional and knowledgeable in assessing the necessary procedure to heal me. And I’ll have you know…the next day following my visit I was able to walk for exercise!
