I have 2 kids one 5 and the other 2. We had tried 2 other preschools and a nanny before coming to Bala Cynwyd School for Young Children and I must say that I absolutely love it! I am so glad that I found BCSYC as I find that they have a solid curriculum and amazing teachers who are well trained and competent. I feel confident in knowing my children are safe and well taken care of while my husband and I are at work.

Horrible experience in the school. They have some great teachers so colleagues recommended that based on past experience. But they have been expanding their program and have a ton of management issues. Teacher turnover ratio is getting much higher, and some new teachers are just not good.

Buliding in poor condition. Too many steep stairs for little kids. Carpets in the rooms look dirty. Infant play yard is in the front parking lot near street so they can inhale car fumes and eat mulch. Male owner is rude and unfriendly and does not have the personality to be around little children. You do not get the warm fuzzies when you are there. Kids do nice art work if you can deal with the Pit Bull owner.
