Before hiring Baker & Colson I specifically asked for an estimate, and was very clear about my tax situation - which was not complicated. I was told it would be $300-$500 for preparing my taxes. Instead I received a bill for over $750. Including a $250 client set up fee, and being billed $168 for dropping off my paper work and saying hello to Cathy the accountant I was working with.
