As first time buyers, this company genuinely made this the most joyless and stressful experience of my life. We were originally quoted just under £3,000 (Inc VAT) and we ended up paying over £6,000 for a standard, uncomplicated leasehold flat purchase. We were forced to pay prior to exchange so were left with no choice but to pay the bill and dispute it later. Sadly this was not a good experience and I cannot recommend the company. It was dealing with the execution of my father's will and a sad experience was made more difficult by the time it took anyone to apply for probate (5 months from the date of the initial meeting with the solicitor for an application to be made and only 3 institutions were involved/ had to be contacted).
Individually, and as a family, we have been impressed with the service we have received. The solicitor was highly professional, approachable and efficient. Definitely recommended.
