My family was looking for an entertainment center, and although we found one here, thier attitude was so nasty, we would rather not buy it! The two people that were there, spent their time in the back playing with a baby, and when we asked for help, the lady asked the man and he said he would be right over....he never came. So, Badcock furniture, you have lost all of our business, even though you are the only store that we found an entertainment center that we liked in McDowell and Burke County.
I will comment that over the past 20 years I have had nothing but pleasant contact with the employees at the Marion Badcock store. They even remembered my name after 3 years and I was shocked!! In regard to a previous negative review. Im wondering if before posting this negative review if the manager was contacted about the incident? If not ~ why post it here??? Funny how quick we are to give a negative but never take the time with any of the positives we encounter.

I bought a dvd player from them-a regular dvd player but got a Blu-Ray in the box. Talk to the assistant manager-he is very nice.
we purchased an amana side by side fridge-freezer in march,2010 . IT STOPPED COOLING AND FREEZING ON THE WEEKEND IN AUGUST,SO MONDAY THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE TUESDAY BEFORE THEY COULD WORK ON IT, SO I PICKED OUT ANOTHER ONE AND HAD IT DELIVERED TO THE HOUSE SINCE THEY DIDNT HAVE A USER AVAILABLE, TOO HARD TO GO DAYS WITHOUT FRIDGE. My step mom and girlfriend of my brothers made a stop up to this location to get a quote on furniture. Apparently they only have one associate working who took her own sweet time in assisting my family. As you can imagine after sitting for a certain amount of time patience tends to run thin.
