Bacco's is the best wine and cheese shop in Boston! I stopped in by chance on a Thursday evening when they have free wine and cheese tasting between 4:30pm - 6:30pm. It was the best experience! I tried three different wines, including an Oregon pinot gris and a French cab franc, plus some cheese and crackers. They were all delicious. Hugh, the General Manager, had a very impressive wine and cheese knowledge and gave extra details about the origin and making of the wines, and the tasting notes. Amazing spot!
Went here this week and had a pleasurable experience. There was a wide selection of cheeses with knowledgeable staff that were able to identify the taste pairings of the cheese. The sandwiches were also amazing, with great customization available with the breads and toppings they had. Overall, the store was very clean, neat and organized, with a wide selection of wines, cheeses, food, and snacks, and we will definitely be coming back our next trip to boston
What a great place to find help with your wine selections. I was looking for a red blend in the $25-$30. The cashier brought out the OG wine guy. I told him what I was looking for and he asked me “lighter” or darker. I told him lighter; he recommended a great tasting wine which I would buy again: DOMAINE DE FONDRECHE Ventoux 2023.
