Baby's Dream Furniture, Inc.

About this business

Baby's Dream Furniture has been making nursery furniture since 1990. The company was the first to manufacture convertible cribs. Its furniture is designed for parents who want long-lasting furniture. The cribs are convertible, but the case pieces were also built with the same versatility in mind. Baby s Dream does not mass-merchandise to box stores. The company keeps a close relationship with stores that are known to be customer-centric retailers. Nursery collections, changing tables, nightstands, bunk beds, chests/dressers ... read more

AVOID! These guys are horrendous. The furniture scratches VERY easily. Worse, the dresser we got split down the side. It took months to get a replacement and customer service ignored me repeatedly. We're talking 1 response for every 5 emails I'd send. Then the new dresser ALSO split and this process repeated itself, and it took over 6 months to get it replaced. Now the tall chest we'd gotten also split and I'm on my third email to them with no response. I'm going on a public bashing spree while waiting.

I wish I could give a ZERO star rating... Avoid Baby's Dream like the plague!! I wish I would have read the reviews of Baby's Dream Furniture before I went out and bought our set. 1) We bought the Heritage Collection pieces and if you look at their print ads it clearly shows a quite close drawer glide and then pictures of all the dressers and nightstand below. So we spent the extra money and ordered Babies Dream figuring it was worth the extra $$. The nightstand arrived and to our surprise it had standard, run of the mill gl... read more

This is the worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. Do not waste your time or money. And, if you want to get your furniture before your baby arrives, do not buy Baby Dreams furniture. We ordered the Enchanted crib and it arrived two months before my due date with a cracked head board. We were told that a replacement would arrive in 4-6 weeks, three months later another damaged head board arrived. I ended up spending $75 on shipping costs and at the end of the day had nothing. Think twice before you order from this... read more

21 weeks for nursery furniture??? We ordered five pieces of the Enchanted collection back in July. We were told to expect our furniture in 6-8 weeks, which would have been in early-mid September. We received only the crib. We were then told we'd see the remaining pieces in October. Two just arrived in Albany (in November), and we've now been told that we might see the last two pieces in mid-December. This will be 21 weeks from the time of our order, IF they actually arrive then. I would never have ordered this furniture if I... read more

Do not waste your time and money. Baby's Dream may have cute furniture, but it is the worst quality furniture and packaging I have ever seen. Our first $700 crib took 8 weeks to arrive. It was damaged and scratched and the box looked like someone had THROWN it off the delivery truck. I wasted a ton of time calling and writing the company, because the Customer Service department refused to call me back. After finally agreeing to replace the crib, a second crib took another 6 weeks to arrive. It was also scratched and damaged.... read more

Stay clear. Worst quality furniture ever. We bought from a local store that sells Baby's Dream furniture as well as other lines. First crib we bought: The assembly holes did not line up. The replacement took 6 weeks to come in. The replacement which I just unboxed had no damage at all to the box but has two very large gashes in the top edge of the footboard piece. I have no doubt whatsoever that another replacement will take 6 weeks and will probably be damaged or defective as well.

Furniture is very nice, but the customer service is horrible. One of their retailer's gave us the wrong piece of furniture to convert a crib to a toddler bed. Their retailer closed down before we realized we had received the wrong part. I went through Baby's Dream Furniture directly at that point. It took two weeks to get through to customer service (the lady told me she is the only one that "works in that dept." for such a large company.) Then they wanted me to buy the part again. Absurd! Finally, if we pay for shipping the... read more
