Sixth oldest continually operated department store in the United States. This place is a treasure! Always find good bargains. It's run by great people who employ great people, giving folks a second chance in life. Just a great vibe here, all the way around
Store owner and employee super helpful and friendly. The store didn't stock what we were hoping to find, BUT, one of these fine gentleman had TWO new items of what we were looking for in his apartment upstairs. Random and unexpected, he grabbed what we needed and offered a very fair price! He literally saved our day! Also found the perfect low profile ball cap for my husband! Go visit this store, you never know if they'll have what you need! Chances are they might.
I just had a disappointing experience. After purchasing my items, I asked to look at their women’s sweatsuits, and the man working there immediately asked to take my bag — implying I was going to steal. I had literally just checked out. I felt watched and disrespected the entire time, and it was clear the treatment was racially biased. Mark, Terrell, and Willie....thank you! You guys helped me help someone and I didn't think it would go the way it did! Thank you for opening your doors to us and helping someone in need! The man was homeless and his clothes were wet and cold. Lodges stepped in and helped this man and I just want to say thank you!!!
Great for uniforms and Champion gear of course. I wish they had more Puma and more size small-medium options. They could be a bit more on trend but every once in a while I see something I like, but that's just me! It's a little tight in the store as well and mixed up... merchandising would spruce it right up give it some space for people and make it look less cluttered.
