I was introduced to Heidi through a friend. I threw my back out lifting a heavy printer on an unstable ladder. I have never had back pain like I did after this injury. Heidi was extremely helpful in getting rid of a persistent shoulder pain I was dealing with. From an initial examination she gave an accurate diagnosis and had me on a regimen of strength exercises that's resulted in a virtually pain-free shoulder. Heidi is a great physical therapist. I had a severe shoulder impingement from a dislocated shoulder injury about 30 years ago. It was fine, just not as fleixble or as strong as my other shoulder, but then it flared up about 5 months ago. I tried acupuncture, rest, Alleve, Tylenol; unfortunately it was getting worse, not better. I've been working with Heidi for 6 weeks now, and I'm at least back to where I was before the flare up, and going for equal strength, flexibility and no pain, equivalent to the other shoulder. Aware has been great! They've helped me a ton with several issues that had persisted for years. Aware is thorough with their work and thinks outside the box with personalized plans.

I was connected to Heidi/Aware Orthopedic Health though a friend. I missed a step in my house and rolled on my left ankle while landing very ungracefully! It was extremely painful and I was fearful that I may have fractured a bone. My foot immediately swelled and I couldn't put any weight on it.
