My niece was very excited to continue her education here in the Culinary Arts Program & has been doing well. I graduated early from high school and took the ferry from Kodiak to take the 6 Pak captain's license. In 1982 the requirements were much different. They totally failed to tell me what I would need before taking the actual test. Had I been told I would have brought the documented sea time from 5 different captain's. Nor did I have the means and time to go to the Anchorage USCG office to get a Zcard. So I got a refund and bused to Anchorage until the next crab season.
