Nobody wants to put their parents into a care home, but if you need to, it has to be right. The staff at Avon Park have been amazing and treated my mum which so much care and attention. In her final months they went above and beyond to make sure that not only was she looked after, but we were too, with multiple cups of tea and biscuits. Their kindness and support through hugs, tears and 'little chats' has meant the world to us all. Thank you x
My brother has been a resident in Avon Park, he is very happy, the staff are a joy and delight, very attentive and obviously happy in their work. There is a variety of activities for the residents and this has definitely been of a benefit to my brother.
Mum recently had a four week respite stay. Avon Park is a wonderful family run home with fantastic staff and facilities. The staff/management were so kind and approachable paying particular attention to individual needs in an empathetic and respectful manner. Mum stayed in one of the newly built rooms which was 5*, en suite, garden view and access, warm, bright everything you could wish for. My Dad initially went in for a 2 week respite break at Avon Park but he knew within just a few days that he wanted to stay there. It is a wonderful home and the staff are so caring and kind. He made friends with other residents and genuinely enjoyed his new life there. Whenever I visited, or FaceTimed him, he always said how happy he was and felt lucky to be there. This was so reassuring to all of our family.
